MERRY CHRISTMAS!
December 2011
As we look back over this year, we realize how very busy and blessed we have been. We were able to ALL get together as a family for Rob’s mom’s wedding in Utah in March. With one son on a mission, one leaving before the first gets back, and the last leaving before the second returns, it will be at least 5 years before we’re all together again. We took another trip to Utah in July to see Joseph off on his mission.
The photos above, clockwise from the top:
*Daniel with one of his heroes, Larry Gelwix—a famed rugby coach (from the movie “Forever Strong”) and current mission president in Fresno. Daniel graduated from high school this year and attends Fresno City College. He loves being able to drive and he loves playing rugby!
*Elder Joseph Bishop, serving in the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission. He likes letters; you can write him at joseph.bishop@myldsmail.net or 8060 S 615 E, Sandy UT 84070
*The family in Provo last March.
*Another of the family: Mike, Tabitha & Sawyer Pacheco, Joseph, Aaron, Daniel, Anna & Darion all standing, with Janice & Rob seated.
*Darion doing what he loves, riding the hills at Woodward Park. He is a sophomore and plays football at school, but prefers playing rugby on a club team with Daniel when he’s not doing the jumps on his bike with his friends.
Tabitha has been blessed to be able to stay home with Sawyer while still working as a special education teacher for the Utah Virtual Academy, and her husband Mike graduated from BYU this year and is now working for the university. Aaron works as a software developer while attending BYU majoring in Computer Science/Animation and now with a Visual Arts minor. Anna continues to work at BMD in Galt and lives in Stockton, CA; she plans to attend cosmetology school next year.
Rob left Otis Elevator Co. early this year, after 25 years, to work for Schindler Elevator. He also took up flying and has logged over 65 hours including several solo flights. He will soon be a licensed light sport pilot. Janice has filled her year with sewing--making quilts for the kids and for charity, and Sawyer’s Halloween costume and wise men costumes for Daniel & Darion.
We count you, our extended family and friends, among our greatest blessings and wish you a terrific Twenty-Twelve!
